Fort Wayne Composite Squadron supports Civil Air Patrol’s Emergency Services missions by flying one of 10 Indiana Wing Civil Air Patrol aircraft and operating one of sixteenteen vehicles and a mission support trailer. We also operate 1 high frequency (HF) radio, and a very high frequency (VHF) repeater, serving up to 113 VHF base and mobile radios.
Our squadron is involved in search and rescue, disaster relief, and counterdrug operations through the Indiana Wing, under the direction of our National Operations Center.

Fort Wayne Composite Squadron was named Ground Team of the Year in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
Our Director of Operations, Capt Jim Iddins, was named Aircrew member of the Year 2016.
